Job Description: Randstad is working with an investment firm to hire a contract Java Oracle Developer. The role is on the data and governance team and supports multiple established systems for maintaining securities data, benchmarks, and portfolio information. At the request of various investment professionals, additional elements are populated into the databases, enhancements are made, and new functionality is incorporated into the systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Java.Responsibilities:-Analyze solutions for the data to better manage products-Determine enhancements to legacy database-Map new elements, translate codes, and build new interfaces, reports, backend Java processes, views, stored procedures, and data loaders-Fix issues for business user requests-Support multiple established systems for maintaining securities data, benchmarks, and portfolio information-Assist data usersQualifications:-Bachelor's degree-4+ years of experience with a mix of software engineering and business analysis-Extensive experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures-Experience with PL/SQL, SQL, PERL scripting, UNIX shell scripting, Java, Spring framework, SpringBoot, AWS-Experience in EJBs, Struts framework, App/Web Server applications, JSP (Java Server Pages), Servlet/Web UI, Web Services, HTML, familiarity with source control systems like CVS and development/build tools like Maven, or Eclipse -Experience within financial services location: BOSTON, Massachusettsjob type: Contractsalary: $60 - 65 per hourwork hours: 9am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Job Description: Randstad is working with an investment firm to hire a contract Java Oracle Developer.
