CNC Programmer/Operator

Opportunity

Marble & Granite company specializes in residential and commercial countertop solutions, designed and installed by experienced craftsmen to meet the needs of commercial, industrial and residential customers.

Role

The company is looking for a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to produce countertop solutions using CNC equipment. You will be primarily responsible for programming using Alpha Stone CAD software w/park EZ buttons and operating Poseidon T-Rex and Viking 2 CNC machines. This will include maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies. Knowledge of countertop construction, with previous CNC is desired. This is a full-time(40hrs), hourly position with flexible hours M-F reporting to the Production Manager. Some remote hours may be possible.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery so that the work is performed at the highest level of efficiency, quality and meeting all

deadlines.

Load CNC by lifting stock into proper position.

Must have experience with pulling up programs and making dimensional changes.

Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, taking

measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls.

Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet

specifications.

Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring

opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Ensure that the equipment is maintained in an excellent working condition.

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting to determine required parts and/or service.

Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties and roles as requested by supervision.

Requirements

3+ years in millwork shop, with at least 2+ years with CNC machine experience

Strong understanding of countertop manufacturing and design

Knowledge of Alpha Stone CAD software or equivalent

Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings

Understand and perform basic math calculation, measurements, and geometry

Team Player, ability to perform other roles and job-related duties

Detail oriented, dependable

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper lifting techniques

High School Diploma or equivalent
