Azure Cloud Engineer

The Azure Cloud Engineer will drive collaborative efforts with our software development, data services, and infrastructure colleagues to develop and deploy solutions via Azure Cloud.You will coordinate design workshops, and work across our IT organization on demonstrations, proofs-of-concept (POC), and ultimately delivery of production solutions.In this role, you will also work with our teams to plan infrastructure migration, supporting the development of customer solutions such as Web applications, and design and implementation of cloud networking, enterprise application subscriptions and containerization, security, IAM, data protection, automation, and disaster recovery.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the business’s best cloud-based solutions.
• Evaluate the IT infrastructure of a company to identify cloud migration options.
• Provide development and data services teams advice, thought leadership, and mentoring to help them enhance their cloud competencies.
• Ensure application size, performance, and uptime while upholding strict code quality criteria, and work with IT teammates to develop migration plans and manage migration processes.
• Create virtual networks, virtual machines, and Azure PaaS services with high levels of performance and security to handle workloads.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments in compliance with the organization’s security policies and service-level agreements.
• Utilize Azure’s automation technology possibilities including infrastructure-as-code and application deployment technologies (i.e., Azure Bicep, Kubernetes).

• Minimum of 3 years of Azure experience required
• Significant experience developing
  Azure Cloud solutions, including migrations,
  IaaS and PaaS development, big data, and analytics.

• Current certification in
  Azure core technologies and/or related certifications is strongly preferred
