Job Title: Senior Business AnalystLocation: Rockville, MD (Onsite)Duration: FulltimePayrate: DOEAs a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical and business resources by assessing processes, delivering requirements, and providing data-driven recommendations to management and stakeholders. This role will be assigned to a government project with highly competitive pay, and the initial term is one year with the option for renewal based on satisfactory performance for up to 5 years.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in Information Systems and apply it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans, providing advice and guidance to others.
- Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.
- Manage customer relationships and expectations through effective communication, keeping others updated on project results.
- Stay current with customer needs and strategies, utilizing various communication methods to communicate updates and findings to diverse audiences.
- Lead or participate in multiple projects, managing project documentation, scope, schedules, and relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Provide leadership to team members and peers, collaborating with others, articulating ideas, and driving issue resolution.
- Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis, focusing on quality improvement and data management.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions, building relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, and adapting to changes and new responsibilities.
- Provide project-level analysis, producing required project documentation and collaborating closely with developers and testers.
- Assist with testing implementation to ensure data transfer collection, quality, and reporting relationships are appropriate.
- Create and maintain project-related documentation, such as issue logs, meeting minutes, project summaries, and updates.
- Create and maintain project schedules, monitoring milestone completion and coordinating actions to resolve conflicts.
- Meet regularly with the project team to review project deliverables and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, IT, or related field.
- Proven 5 years of experience as a business analyst and 2 years working with Agile teams.
- Proven experience with any one of the following certifications will be an advantage: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
