PLUMBER APPRENTICE

Bayside Plumbing Group is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Plumber Apprentices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with minimal plumbing experience looking to start a career in the plumbing industry, as it offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist experienced plumbers in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Learn to interpret blueprints and specifications to understand the layout of plumbing systems. Assist in measuring, cutting, bending, and threading pipes using hand and power tools.

Learn to identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues and assist in making necessary repairs. Support the installation of plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.

Gain knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all work performed. Assist in the assembly and installation of plumbing systems in new construction projects.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues to supervisors. Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Participate in ongoing training programs to expand plumbing knowledge and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

1+ years plumbing experience.

High school diploma or equivalent. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop skills in the plumbing trade.

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
