Savvee Consulting Inc is seeking to hire an

Information Technology Policy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our federal client

part-time in a hybrid work model of onsite/telework. This client is located in

Bethesda, MD. Ideal candidates will be experts in IT policy creation and editing while liaising with stakeholders for mission success.This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Essential Functions
  • Providing support for operational, analytical, and budgetary of the activities for IT governance groups such as Enterprise Information IT Council (EIT), IT Budget Advisory Committee Council (ITBAC), and the IT Management Council (ITMC).
  • Evaluating the optimization of the investment portfolios by leveraging outcome driven metrics, linking risk to value to validate portfolio decisions for achieving desired business outcomes.
  • Facilitating functional budget reviews across OCIO that shall include reporting execution metrics (e.g., budget to plan and plan to actuals)
  • Supporting the review, development, collaboration, analysis, interpretation, and issuing of IT policies, standards, procedures, and other guidance in response to new Federal or Departmental requirements.
  • Providing high-level support to advance the IT workforce as required by OMB and HHS, and to support FITARA maturation.
  • Supplying strategic and operational support of OCIO FITARA activities including but not limited to budget preparation, FITARA Scorecard, IT Acquisition Reviews, acquisition forecasting and planning, and related functions.
  • Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

Required Education & Training
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience & Skills

  • Twelve or more years of IT policy experience
  • Three or more years of FITARA experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
