SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking a qualified Construction Foreman for our growing team. The Foreman will report directly to the Superintendent. A successful candidate should have 2 or more years of experience in the construction industry and knowledge of reading budgets to be able to manage the job efficiently. Strong leadership skills are a must have. We offer a competitive salary, quarterly bonuses, a company provided truck with fuel card, and comprehensive benefits. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 3 to 6 individuals.

Interpret budgets, project plans, and specifications.

Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job.

Responsible for completing daily time, approving crew time, and maintaining daily notes/pictures in our system.

Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Travel out of state when necessary and check into a hotel.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of professional construction experience

Current Driver’s License

Currently hold or be able to get a DOT Physical Card

Strong leadership skills

Strong time management and organizational skills

Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

Understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Must be willing to Travel Monday – Friday (75%)

Must be reliable to get to work on time, ready with all necessary tools/equipment.
