Job DetailsThe CTO will lead overall technical innovation, differentiation, and strategy to include creation and execution of a technology roadmap, development of technical solutions for priority captures, management of the Government IT services portfolio and supporting technical performance and excellence on delivery. This position will be focused on providing executive oversight to Innovation and Solutioning that will support the company's growthThis individual will be responsible for leading the solutioning for proposals, Capture and Delivery. They will lead the team for building prototypes and products that leverage core capabilities. In addition, the CTO will be responsible for participating and contributing to the long-range strategy in Innovations to achieve growth. They will lead the solution team and own the Innovation backlog of the company. The position also requires to present ideas and solutions to the customers and stakeholders. CTO also will lead the CTO (matrixed) organization overseeing and managing other employees.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:Reports to: President and lead the CTO OrganizationPrimary Working Relationships: Company employees, partners, Internal and external customersRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Understand the Government Contracting (GovCon) industry, Federal RFP and Proposal processesUnderstand company's capabilities and EngagementsBuild skills related to company's capabilitiesLead the Solution and the effort in supporting New and Organic growth.Develop fully compliant and outstanding technical solutions for an opportunity in the Capture phase,Seek and identify key partnerships with strategic business partners to develop differentiated proposal solutions response to government RFPEstablish a technology vendor partner ecosystem that functions as a force-multiplier to drive growth. This will entail not only leveraging a vendor partner's technology portfolio to craft the most compelling solution(s), but also leveraging their BD resources to penetrate new accounts.Collaborate with Growth / BD leader(s) early in the acquisition life-cycle to influence the customers' perspectives through our point(s) of view, and drive our capabilities (solutions and services) into bids to help win our fair share of new business.Support the Growth/BD leads to optimize the pipeline of opportunities and provide necessary support to converge to bid/no-bid decisions.Lead Proposal Solution efforts that analyzing the RFP Statement of Work (SOW) requirements and proposing creative methodologies and cost-effective technical design specifications.Lead the technical response to an RFP, to include developing diagrams and architectures.Attend pre-RFP meetings with team members and answer general technical questions about a potential solution to a client problem.Be able to fully understand and effectively articulate RFP and potential client requirements as described in the RFP or Performance Work Statement (PWS).Involved with Delivery teams to infuse improvements and Innovations that will generate Organic growthLead prototypes and proofs-of-concept in our Innovation Lab.Demonstrate prototypes and proofs-of-concept to customers and potential customers.Lead Product development in iLABLead CTO Organization in leading and building solution team (matrixed and dedicated) in supporting growth Retaining and attracting talent to ensure we have the right resources to execute our strategy and achieve our goals.Align technology resources with short and long-term growth objectives.Optimize deployment of technology talent across the company and strike a pragmatic balance between direct and indirect support ratio for those enabling growth.Collaborate with other leaders to identify the technical direction of service offerings.Identify marketplace trends to help identify technical vision.Author and lead the technical presentations to our customers.Analyze and identify the best technical solution among all possible to solve business needs.Provide thought leadership by speaking at conferences, doing interviews, and/or publishing blogs to promote the Cormac brand.MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:At least 15+ years IT experience5+ years of experience managing within a consulting organization (or a significant management role within a practice) with a focus on both technical leadership and technology selection/expertise.5+ years of Federal Government proposal writing experience.Forward-thinking, IT leader having deep knowledge of IT trends and ability to devise solutions to address both current and future client need through innovative use proven emerging technologies.Experience in designing and deploying solutions for Cloud environments, preferably in a government or contractor-managed context.Experience/expertise in Software engineering, Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Analytics3+ years AWS cloud experienceExperience in solution delivery capabilities (i.e., cloud, containers, SaaS)Agile certification and/or experienceDevOps experienceCI/CD experienceExcellent organizational, communication, presentation, and writing skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, completing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.Bachelors in Computer Science/engineering related or equivalent degreeInterested in hearing more?
