Remote Litigation Paralegal (Insurance Defense)

JOB TARGET:

I am looking for a specialized position where I can work about 20-30 hours per week remotely from my local legal services and notary public office in Slidell, Louisiana. My background includes a strong history of working in many facets of law including but not limited to: insurance defense, medical malpractice (plaintiff and defense), construction, entertainment law, corporate law, class action, etc. I am only interested in assignments that involve the following: scheduling depositions, summarizing depositions, preparing subpoenas, requesting medical records, summarizing medical records and preparing exhibits and attorneys' notebooks for trial.

BACKGROUND:

A highly skilled multi-district Senior Litigation Paralegal with thirty-two years of solid paralegal experience combined with twenty-eight years of technical training in specialized software building, administering, and maintaining electronic discovery databases seeks a part-time/remote paralegal position (Only). Licensed Notary Public in St. Tammany Parish for the State of Louisiana since May 5, 1998;

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Thirty-two years of paralegal experience in many facets of law, including but not limited to: Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice, Admiralty/Maritime, Longshore Harbors Workers’ Compensation, Corporate Business, Construction Law, General Litigation, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Plaintiff’s Asbestos Litigation and Toxic Tort Litigation;

SOFTWARE SKILLS:

Microsoft Office Word 12, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, Case Map, e-Discovery for helping attorneys reduce their time, cost and efforts through the use of electronic discovery for litigation, iManage, Case Logistics, Summation iBlaze 3.2, Concordance, and many others.
