We are looking for a few experienced, professional, and positive people to continue the "old-school" grocery and deli experience of old New Orleans.

Our business has been around for over 30 years and we have built a loyal following of committed and passionate customers. And we add more every day.

While we will train you on our unique products and offerings, we prefer that you have some knowledge of specialty, imported, and gourmet foods.

Our store hours are from 10a to 6p Monday thru Saturday, and 11-3 on Sunday.

There are no late nights, however, we occasionally do special events. We are located in a safe, convenient, and accessible location. Compensation is competitive and is based on your experience and ability to learn new things.

- Prepare and serve gourmet specialty food items to customers

- Take customer orders and process payments using Positouch POS system

- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience

- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area

- Assist with maintaining outdoor seating

- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of all food items

- Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service

```Preferred Skills:```

- Experience working in a gourmet or specialty food setting

- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling

- Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities

- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally

- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and ability to follow recipes accurately

- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
