Description The Application Development Project Manager role is responsible for delivering value for key business initiatives and aligning efforts across various product/delivery teams.Major responsibilities- Identify business objectives and desired outcomes, establish key results and monitor KPIs to show progress and measure the value of delivery.- Lead and/or aid in the design, development and implementation of project policies and standardized processes to improve and/or establish best practices for efficiency and consistency.- Plan and complete pre-deployment user acceptance testing that is specific to the project with the Deployment Manager.- Create alignment and facilitate conversations to mitigate risks, manage dependencies and remove roadblocks across the program.- Create visualizations of work across all teams impacted by the project.- Keep track of project costs.- Lead planning, initiation and discovery activities across cross-functional teams and stakeholders to effectively manage program scope and execution of value delivery for key initiatives, communicate status of the project to senior management.- Identify and analyze the risks associated with achieving the milestones for a project. Develop risk mitigation strategies.- Highlight waste and illustrate value delivered, facilitate workshops, process and value stream mapping activities to create awareness, document inputs/outputs of complex workflows, and understand dependencies- Design, test, implement, and maintain updates within company databases and applications necessary to streamline/automate a business process, with the help of the development team.- Lead communication with stakeholder groups, including securing sponsorship, establishing governance and proactively building awareness of the program and outcomes.- Report development and data validation.- Establish high-level goals and road map associated with their project. Requirements - The Technical Project Manager at TAI IT is responsible for managing both application and infrastructure projects from an IT perspective.- They provide expert guidance in cross-functional and technical system design, configuration, and setup.- The role requires expertise in cross-functional business process definitions and a keen insight into company-wide requirements.- The Project Manager demonstrates leadership in guiding users toward system standards and utilizing previous solutions for current situations.- They excel in accurate cross-functional requirement gathering and the development of functional programming specifications.- Strong project management skills are essential to develop, maintain, and track project scope, timeline, design, implementation, and budget.- The Project Manager demonstrates excellent customer communication skills, effectively communicating root cause and resolution to customers.- They lead kaizen activities related to project management methodology and corporate applications training programs.- Excellent analytical skills are applied to problem resolution, data integrity, and business processes.- The Technical Project Manager provides guidance in project management, project methodology, communication, and issue resolution.- They lead cross-training exercises of the applications team for seamless integration and issue resolution.- Participation in kaizen change control management and JSOX activities is expected.- The ideal candidate has proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.- Familiarity with Service Now ITBM - Project Management Module is preferred.- Strong Excel skills, including writing formulas, pivot tables, and data reconciliation, are particularly important.- Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary for the role.- The Project Manager should be detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to meet deadlines, multi-task, and problem-solve.- Previous IT experience in desktop, server, or other infrastructure level IT support is preferred.- Knowledge and ability to develop written materials and PowerPoint presentations for all levels of staff, including executives, are desirable.- A strong technical understanding of technical infrastructure and systems environment is expected.- The ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational functions and levels is crucial.- The Project Manager should be a team player with considerable skills in collaboration and facilitation, able to influence others without direct authority.- They should have a high energy level and work with a sense of urgency to achieve results and meet user needs.- The ability to manage change, both personally and organizationally, and facilitate its acceptance by others is important.- The role requires the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.- The Project Manager should proactively seek out issues and their resolutions before they become problems.- They should be able to progress on more than one task or project simultaneously and be flexible.
