Business Manager - Accountant Part Time 1099

National Bookkeeping firm looking for a professional contract Business Manager / Accountant to work part time as needed. Position requires extensive accounting knowledge and operational experience. To include: bookkeeping, reconciliations, billing, debt collecting, closing the month, JE's and AJE's, and creating a financial binder each month.

Must be able to help facilitate onboarding for new clients and team members on various software platforms. Must be good at Excel. Strong QuickBooks and QBO experience. Payroll is a must. Must be able to work well with others and perform tasks correctly, timely, and without direction. Looking for an experienced controller to perform tasks timely each month for our clients.

Must be dependable every day for minimum of 2-5 hours a day depending on the demand.

This position wears a lot of hats. Right arm to the owner. Current bookkeeper is planning to retire after 11 years of working with firm. This job works for someone who works from home or travels so long as you are reliable.

Requires ten plus years of experience. Must have accounting experience and education. You must be a true contractor and have worked remotely. Clear background check and references required. Must have own computer, scanner, printer, phone, etc. You may have other clients however our clients and team must receive top service, quality work and timely responses.
