job summary:Randstad Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Developer for an exciting fully remote contract role with one of our Kansas City area clients. Preferred candidate will bring the following qualifications: -Minimum of five years of experience in the following IT solution development disciplines: technical or infrastructure architecture, application development, database integration and cloud development. -Primary development experience with React, Node.js, Web Workers, and Python. -Experience in Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Run, Big Query, Firebase, Cloud Architecture. -Experience in architecting Cloud Native Applications, REST APIs. -Preferred experience in GIS development (eg. Google Maps, Deck gl, Esri). -Point Cloud data and Imagery processing Libraries - ideally with THREE JS and possibly Potree. (Recommended - Familiarity Visual ML modeling OpenCV, GCP Vision AI). -Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (or other containerization). -Familiar with Software Unit Testing. -Experience in implementing security concepts. -Demonstrated ability to independently research technology. -Experience evaluating risk against cost, scope, time, and available resources. -Effective communication skills. -Expertise in agile application development methodologies. -Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments? -Solid experience with data security and privacy technologies and processes.? -Experience building and supporting mission critical applications.? -Understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience. In addition to the education requirements, ten years related experience.
