Parts & Rental Counter Specialist

Star Equipment LTD is searching for a Parts and Rental Counter Specialist at our Cedar Rapids location - 2950 6th Street SW.

Star Equipment LTD is a family owned, Iowa Company. We are a mid-size construction equipment dealer, our manufacturers include Manitou, Takeuchi, Multiquip and Husqvarna.

Personal Qualifications:

-Outgoing Personality with the ability to handle customers

-Mechanical and Construction equipment experience

-Basic Computer knowledge

-Lift 100# as needed

-Clean driving record (CDL is a PLUS)

-Willingness to learn and adapt.

-Prior Experience in a parts ordering industry is helpful.

Job Responsibilities:

-Greet Customers in person and on the phone professionally.

-Handle in-store and on the phone orders.

-Stock Parts in proper locations using the systems provided.

-Order parts from vendors and track until received.

-Handle Shipping and Receiving.

-Assess and Provide Customers with equipment rental needs.

-Deliver Parts as needed

-Cross Train with other departments

-Maintain good housekeeping, clean work areas and organized communications.
