Desktop Support Analyst

Description Robert Half is looking for a talented Desktop Support Technician who is able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format for a company in the Engineering industry. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity, is located in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area.Major responsibilities- Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors Requirements - Desktop support or related experience- Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing- Switches experience preferred- Microsoft Azure experience- Practical knowledge of LAN (local area networks)- Microsoft Office Suites experience required- General familiarity with O 365- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Office 365- Proven knowledge of MS Windows 10- Quality experience with WANs (Wide Area Network)- Router Switches experience highly desired- Deep understanding of Active Directory- Wide ranging experience with Basic Network Troubleshooting- Earlier work involving Network Security Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
