CNC operator / programmer

Job description:

Plymouth Foundry is seeking a full time qualified CNC machinist with at minimum 3 years working experience. Applicant must have the ability to preform short run precision machining on both Gray and ductile iron parts of various sizes and dimensions. Applicant must have a quality oriented work ethic with attention to detail. Team working skills are also imperative in our small team environment. Position is 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday with optional overtime opportunities on Fridays.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Setting up machining fixtures for production

Setting up job specific programs using (G-codes and Mastercam)

Machining Gray and Ductile castings

Handle materials appropriately and safely.

Self motivated to start and complete daily production tasks

Ability to drive fork lift

Dimensionally inspecting machined parts with tools such as: calipers, micrometers, CMM, height gauges, and bore gauges.

Experience Preferred

Machining: 3 years experience

Programing with G-codes

Programing with mastercam

Vertical lathe

Vertical mill

Horizontal Mill

Horizontal lathe

Manual Lathe

Bridgeport

Doosan and Okuma CNC

Reading and interpreting casting prints

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
