Security Network Engineer

Description Develops and implements security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, and web-based systems.Reviews security violation reports or logs, investigates possible security exceptions and coordinates with internal teams or external agencies as needed.Planning, implementing, and managing security measures to protect the organization's information systems and networksMonitoring security systems to identify and respond to potential security incidentsPerforming regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilitiesStaying up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologiesDeveloping and implementing security policies and proceduresProviding training and support to end-users on security best practicesResponding to security incidents and leading incident response efforts.Managing Endpoint detection and response (EDR) platform.Analyzing Emails for spoofing, reading and understanding email headers and maintains email gateway security controlsOversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) operationsPerform real-time detection, analysis, and response to threats via an EDR toolAnalyze attacks and trends facing the organization to better define proactive defensive measuresAnticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.Provides subject matter expertise when neededAnalyze and correlate data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.Perform initial analysis and investigation into security alerts in security monitoring consoles.Hybrid cloud security, operations and administration.Administration of MDM technologies.Administration of Cloud web proxy, advance firewalling and sandboxing.Researches and evaluates cybersecurity threats and performs root cause analysis.Facilitate information to the management as required, including producing and delivering various dashboard, metrics and other reports, as required.Performs and supports vulnerability scanning & management and working with responsible parties for remediation efforts.Participates in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.Security design and architect in a global company cross technology stack in hybrid (Azure/On-prem) environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in agile disciplineExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologiesAbility to implement and manage security solutions such as antivirus software and intrusion detection systemsFamiliarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and network protocols Requirements EDRM, Load Balancer, Security Monitoring, Network Security Monitoring, Intune Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
