Product Manager (Mobile application experience)

Role: Product Manager (

• Must be local to Chicago and able to be in the office. Has mobile application experience.
• How many years of mobile application do you want the candidate to have?
  7+ years.
• How many days of the week do you want them in Willis Tower? Once a week for now but that could change.
• Typical Day in the role? Participating in meetings check-in, Travel ready center, baggage, flight status, and seats flow. Writing technical user stories that are developer centric for the team.

• · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field or 8 years of equivalent work experience required.
• · Solid knowledge of product management best practices, functional design and application delivery methodology
• · 7+ years of prior experience as a Product Manager working within an enterprise IT organization
• · Experienced working with Mobile App technologies
• · While not a developer, candidate should possess a high-level understanding of IT systems and architecture to support discussions and communications
• · Strong multi-tasker, proven experience handling multiple roles and projects simultaneously
• · Experience working with cross-functional, global teams to deliver commitments on-time and on-budget
• · Excellent analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills
• · Attention to detail
• · Proven analytical abilities
• · Proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
• · Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
• · Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
• · Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and agile tools (JIRA, TFS/Azure DevOps)
• · Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

• · Knowledge of project management methodology and some project management experience
• · Experienced with both agile and waterfall

• · Prior experience with cloud (AWS) applications
• · Experience with data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools
• · Airline experience is a plus
