Duration: 12 Months (Direct Hire) Shift Details: 6am to 2:30pm Job Description: (Direct Hire) Looking for an experienced electronics technician responsible for assembling and testing SPECT and PET medical imaging systems. Responsibilities: 1. Assemble, test, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical machines and/or computer systems. 2. Use written procedures and technical drawings as needed. 3. Gather information and record it into internal computer systems. 4. Use tools and test equipment provided (e.g., cordless screwdrivers, torque wrenches, DVM's). 5. Some positions may handle low levels of radioactivity occasionally. Required skills or experience: 1. Ability to learn and apply new technical skills. 2. Ability to read and follow procedures. 3. Ability to accurately log data into computer systems or onto paper. 4. Ability to work in a team setting. 5. Ability to lift 50lbs from time to time. Preferred skills or experience: 1. Working knowledge of hand tools (e.g., mechanical or electric torque wrenches). 2. Working knowledge of electrical test equipment (e.g., DVM, Ground Bond Testers). 3. Ability to read technical drawings (e.g., mechanical, wiring diagrams). 4. Ability to load software onto different types of computer systems. 5. Ability to work 1st shift. 6am to 2:20pm 6. Ability to work overtime intermittently (e.g., weekdays or Saturdays). 7. Some post high school education (e.g., mechatronics certification, AS or BS in a technical field). 8. Work experience in a technical field.
