Position: Junior Project Manager/Project Coordinator

Engagement: 6 – 12 months, possible extension or conversion in the future

Location: Chicago, IL (you will be required to sit onsite 2 days per week)

Hours: 35 hour weeks – flexible on hours they work The role will be responsible for providing support to the Project Management team to aid with the successful of various global programs and projects to deliver on the firm’s ambition to transform the business and the way we work – providing a benefit for both our people and our clients. You will be assisting the PM team with their Transformation Program and your duties will include:- Providing Project Management admin support and where needed step up to supervise on various programs and projects- Manage data and providing analytics.- Managing risk and issues- Supporting the governance reporting cycle- Forming reports of the programs through Excel and other systems- Developing dashboards to monitor performance (compliance, benefits etc.)- Other ad hoc duties Looking for:- You have a good understanding and experience of project and resource planning in the context of change and project management- You have the confidence and communication skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders- You enjoy developing and implementing new processes and procedures- You enjoy being one step ahead by anticipating stakeholders needs and identifying and forecasting issues to ensure accurate planning and resolution- You must have strong IT skills including advanced knowledge of MS office and MS Teams- Exposure to project reporting including raising and management of risks, issues, and mitigation plans.- Planning, judgement and analytical.- Critical thinking, problem solving, planning, organising and decision-making skills with the ability to delegate and manage conflict.- Strong understanding of business functions and structures, with experience of working with other teams on projects.- Excellent interpersonal and situational leadership skills with a customer centric approach.
