RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager in Chicago, IL.This role performs a wide range of duties including, but not limited to, the following: Infrastructure Project Manager needs to drive the execution and delivery of infrastructure projects that are approved and funded Guides complex technology projects from inception through delivery and support, working in close partnership with IT and business leaders, including project, program, executive sponsors, all IT groups, as well as other leaders within the business and IT In charge of defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking/reporting progress against objectives and budgets, driving execution of key projects and programs, coaching project team members and improving project management processes As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you will provide overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts Follows and exemplifies consistent project management practices, processes, and metrics Develop clear, business language presentations for senior leadership to support swift decision making, Risk management and issue resolution when needed Maintains, socializes, and enforces the overall project management lifecycle Infrastructure Project Manager works in conjunction with the VP of NA IT, IT leaders and other executives on key decision-making activities during project execution as needed Mentoring, coaching, developing & encouraging excellence from project teams and less experienced project managers Continually upgrade and enhance knowledge of program/project management processes/methodologies and provide a key source of expertise when neededREQUIREMENTS: 2-3+ years of demonstrated experience in Information Technology, working on infrastructure related projects with a focus on Network and technologies Demonstrated experience with planning, managing, and tracking multiple complex and major impact projects Demonstrated experience with managing stakeholder expectations, implementing service improvement initiatives and communicating effectively with senior management In-depth experience with IT Infrastructure Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills Effective team building, cross-collaboration skillsPreferred Experience: Experience operating in a manufacturing environment Keeps Infrastructure technologies knowledge up to date Technical resource for others, follows technology best practices and standardsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
