JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Field Technician for K Tecknology will travel to our new and existing restaurant and hospitality partners to install and configure point of sales systems (POS), onboard, and train sessions with management and staff, and provide live support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Learn Toast POS system and become a product expert

- Install and configure hardware and networking devices including terminals, handhelds, printers, and other peripherals

- Conduct onboardings and training sessions with company stakeholders like managemenet and staff to optimize Toast

- Provide end-user support during onboards and training sessions

- Provide Go-Live Support

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Basic experience and familiarity with networking concepts and hardware

- Previous experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry is highly desired

- Previous Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, especially Toast is preferred

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to present to customers

- Demonstrate attention to detail

- Ability to organize, solve, and troubleshoot quickly and efficiently

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to travel up to 60% or up to four days of the work week to partner locations nationwide

- Weekend availability

- Ability to life up to 30 pounds

JOB PREFERENCES:

- Minimum Degree Required: High School

- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year of restaurant/hospitality experience- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to present to customers
