Please find below the job description. Position: Application Packaging Engineer Location: 100% REMOTE Duration: Full Time Employment Application Packaging

• Coordinate desktop security updates to ensure compliance while minimizing operational risk and impact
• Provide input into strategic direction and provide technical leadership within the App Delivery team
• Own and implement process and technical improvements including process documentation and compliance improvements
• Create partnerships with Information Security and LOB associates to understand the desktop requirements and challenges
• Create application packages in MSI and/or Virtual format
• Maintain windows updates using Configuration Manager 2012
• Create deployment plans that mitigate risk, minimize conflict, and maximize level of effort
• Create partnerships with support teams ensuring they're aware of desktop changes and have an opportunity to provide feedback
• Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to ensure optimal application environment operation
• Liaise with other IT support teams and clients where necessary to verify technical solutions and ensure the successful integration of new systems.
• Deploy packages using SCCM to productions users, following change management process
• Remove packages as per the business requirements
• Provide support on package functionality or deployment issues in production.
• Engage with project teams as needed to provide packaging and deployment support.
