- Diffusion Experience with (ALD, lP-CVD, or Plasma)
- ALE (Atomic Layer Etch)
- Fab Engineering experience on the customer side
- Develops new or modified process formulations.
- Defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications.
- Reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing.
- Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods.
- Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
- May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.
- Gathers, assesses, and communicates development strategies to support future customer development needs.
- Support new equipment and process development and implementation at customer development sites.
- Represent our position in user meetings to support equipment and process issues.
- Provide trouble shooting recommendations, and hands-on support when necessary.
- Review documentation to ensure accuracy and suggest improvements.
- Bachelors or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on equipment experience with Large Batch tools, mini batch, single wafer equipment, etc
- Experienced with LP-CVD, ALD, and/or Plasma Enhanced processes.
- Ability to create, modify, troubleshoot process recipes.
- Understanding of Semiconductor metrology and process data
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot process particle trends and issues.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot process film trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
