Shirt Printer - full or part - Print shop assistant

Aloha! We are a medium sized commercial print shop looking for two new full time people to fill a recently vacated position.

Shirts, apparel, decals, banners, tents and signage we do (almost) it all. Acquire a wide range of skills and knowledge all in one place, with a fun crew!

We are looking to fill two positions:

#1.) Operating and printing shirts on our state of the art Kornit direct to garment system. This is generally a solo job, a medium pace and requires attention to detail and good organizational skills. You will be loading shirts on a printing machine, organizing shirt orders, doing quality control checks and helping to maintain the equipment. You will also be asked to help with other jobs around the office as needed.

#2.) Assisting with production on our new DTF production line. DTF transfers are full color heat applied / iron on graphics that we print for customers and ship out. You'll be loading files onto the computer, organizing orders, overseeing operation of the printer and prepping orders to ship if needed. Initially at least 50% of the time you also might be assisting with other jobs at office although we're expecting it to grow into 100% of the time on the DTF equipment.

As a high volume shop, with a small team, we are looking to add a couple of high caliber workers. The following are requirements:

-Ability to learn quickly, as you go. You will be put on jobs your first day regardless of experience.

-Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Someone who shows up to work ready to work.

-Positive attitude - we have lots to do and not enough time, but we like to do it with a good attitude and humor.

-Able to prioritize and juggle multiple orders/jobs at any given time.

-Able to follow both verbal and written directions well.

-Can work independently as well as with a team.

-DEPENDABILITY, as a small team and small company we rely on each other a lot. If you can not dependably come into work on time please do not apply.

The following are NOT required but preferred. This is a PRODUCTION position and not a design position.

Print shop experience of any kind.

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop experience - this is GREAT to have but we want to stress that this is NOT a design position.

Can lift and move 50lbs up to 100 ft.

Unfortunately being in busy Kakaako we are not able to offer any additional employee parking.
