A store that sells work clothing and uniforms is looking for an aspiring sales associate to train in the Honolulu area. If you have some customer service experience and interested in retail sales, this is the position for you! Employee will need to participate in training exercises, learn new skills and have some expertise with customer service responsibilities.

Location: Honolulu, HI

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm, sometimes Saturdays

Pay Rate: $17/hr., weekly pay. Room to grow once trained

Responsibilities:

· Organize all store merchandise

· Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling , and sharing product knowledge

· Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner

· Monitor stock levels

· Responds to customers' questions

· Inspect the areas in the store and assist in resolving any issues that might arise

· Assist with planning and oversee in-store promotional events or displays

· Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store

· Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters

· Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines

Requirements and skills:

· Proven experience as retail sales associate

· Knowledge of retail sales best practices

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

· Excellent organizing and leadership skills

· Commercial awareness

Education:

Graduation from high school, post-high school business training or course

work desirable.

Working knowledge of retail industry and sales.

Customer service skills, ability to maintain courtesy and tact.

Skills:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
