Housekeeper for Private Eco-Friendly Estate

Our client has a large private estate located in the picturesque area of Kula, Maui, Hawaii. The estate is known for its stunning views, lush surroundings, and commitment to providing an exceptional living experience for the residents. They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the team.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the estate. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the estate are impeccably clean and well-maintained to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will work on a team of housekeepers and will report to the principals and their assistant who all live on site. This is a full time position and we are looking for someone who can join the team and prove to be reliable for many years to come. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and rugs.

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.

- Ensure that all bedrooms, living areas, and common spaces are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

- Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and appliances.

- Change linens and make beds according to established standards.

- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a luxury hotel or private estate.

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects as needed.

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.

- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.

Compensation

- Competitive hourly wage of $35/hour.
