Windward Senior Day Care Center is looking for a hard-working, friendly, energetic individual that can and will provide quality and compassionate care to our seniors.
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living
Monitor health and behavioral changes
Assist with recreational activities
Light housekeeping
Assist with food service
Skills:
Preferred experience and/or knowledge in Alzheimer's or dementia care
Knowledge of and able to assist with Activities of Daily Living
Interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, and listening skills
Able to obtain CPR and First Aid training
Practice good hygiene and health precautions
Understanding of what to do in emergency situations
Able to obtain a physical exam and TB test
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule: Full or part-time, daytime hours, Sundays and major holidays off, paid holidays
Preferred Shift : 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
Once hired, must do fingerprinting and pass a background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
