Machine Operator (Concrete Plant/Industrial)

Tremron LLC, part of the QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC, a manufacturer and distributer of concrete block, retaining walls, pavers, brick, stone, and other masonry and landscape products, has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator for our Douglasville, GA facility.

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a sophisticated, computerized, manufacturing machine and reports to the Plant Manager.

The Machine Operator will:

-Assure that equipment and tools are used according to the manufacturer's specifications

-Take a variety of measurements throughout the shift to monitor the process and ensure quality

-Perform machine setup and maintenance as needed according to machine specifications

-Clean the machines as needed throughout the shift

-Operate a forklift as needed

Job Requirements:

-Show strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills

-Have knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power, transmission, pneumatic, and control systems

-Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, steel toe boots, and all other PPE as required

-Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands.
