Help needed in a Bakery

We are looking for an assistant baker to work with the head baker in a start-up environment. MUST have experience baking. Must be able to commute reliably to 1592 Atlanta Road SE, Marietta GA 30060.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in the preparation of dough, batters, and other bakery items.

2. Measuring and weighing ingredients accurately.

3. Operating and maintaining baking equipment, such as ovens and mixers.

4. Ensuring the quality and consistency of baked products.

5. Monitoring baking times and temperatures to achieve desired results.

6. Cleaning and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

8. Assisting with inventory management and ingredient ordering.

9. Collaborating with the head baker and other team members.

7. Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

8. Packaging and labeling bakery products for sale.

9. Occasional drop off to UPS/USPS with fuel reimbursement.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Salary: $14 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
