Full-time Experience is required. Pay will vary from $20/hr to $40/hr (+ bonus for level 3) depending on experience and skill level.
RW watch shop specializes in Rolex repair and restoration. We are regarded as one of the top shops in the USA. We are looking for a polisher/refinisher for our shop in downtown Miami.This is an entry level position to start. The ideal candidate can grow and learn some of the more advanced techniques and processes that will qualify them for a higher earning scale.
Our facility in downtown Miami features some of the top tools:
Crevoisier belt grinding unit
2 separate lapping machines
Orotig Laser welder station with built in camera and outboard monitor for teaching and training.
Several Ray foster variable polishing lathes with Arbe vacuum systems
Nearly $10k in lapping trollies and collets from Bocks SA
Lathes, milling machines, CNC mill, CNC lathe, Laser Engraver, CD scanner, Resin and filament 3d printers and more.
Skill level and compensation will be evaluated based on these levels:
Level 1
Basic refinishing of case, bezel, case back, and bracelet
Cleaning of case components
Quality control inspection of completed components
Level 2
(Restoration) Basic lapping of case, bezel, case back to restore trueness of surfaces and edges back to original standards. Work will require the use of a lapping machine, variable watchmaking belt unit, complex trolley, complex trolley collets, laser welding
Cleaning of case components
Quality control inspection of completed components
Level 3
(Restoration) Expert lapping of case, bezel, case back to restore trueness of surfaces and edges back to original standards. Work will require the use of a lapping machine, variable watchmaking belt unit, complex trolley and collets, laser welding
Cleaning of case components
Quality control inspection of completed components
Outside of the box thinking to complete more challenging restoration jobs.
