We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator/Support professional to join our team and provide comprehensive support for our Finance and HR systems, with a specific focus on our Sage 300 instance. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and collaborate closely with the Finance, HR, and Payroll teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our systems.Responsibilities:

  • Sage 300 Administration and Support: Administer and support our Sage 300 instance, ensuring its proper functioning and availability for the Finance team. Handle system configuration, user access, and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity.
  • Procedural Documentation: Develop and maintain procedural documentation for Finance and HR systems, serving as a resource for team members. Document processes, best practices, and system configurations to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Changes and Data Migration: Identify and implement changes requested by the Finance team, including system configuration modifications and data migration activities. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and seamless integration.
  • Custom Report Development: Provide functional support and guidance for the development of custom reports. Collaborate with the Finance team to understand reporting requirements and leverage tools like Sage Intelligence and Crystal Reports to generate accurate and actionable reports.
  • HR Systems Platform Support: Provide support and guidance on our HR systems platform, which may include assisting with troubleshooting, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth functionality for HR processes.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Consult with Human Resources, Finance, and Payroll teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues that impact the efficient use of systems. Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Custom CRM Workflow Implementation: Implement custom workflows within our CRM system to enhance productivity and streamline business processes. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and configure the CRM system accordingly.
  • System Access and Security: Administer user access for Sage and ADP profiles, ensuring appropriate access levels and security measures are in place. Recommend group policies and profiles to maintain data integrity and system security.
  • SQL and Custom Reporting: Utilize SQL statements to extract and manipulate data from systems as needed. Develop custom reports using tools like Sage Intelligence and Crystal Reports to provide relevant and meaningful insights to stakeholders.
  • HR Solutions and Plug-In Integration: Assess HR needs and provide solutions within our ADP environment. Evaluate and recommend plug-in solutions to meet HR requirements and ensure a seamless integration with ADP systems.
  • ADP Sandbox and Testing: Assist with the establishment of an ADP Sandbox for future project testing and system implementations. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure a controlled testing environment and successful system rollouts.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors providing consultation services within our Sage environment. Coordinate their activities, provide guidance, and ensure their work aligns with project objectives and timelines.
  • Requirements:
    • Strong technical expertise in Sage 300 administration and support.
    • Proficiency in developing and maintaining procedural documentation.
    • Experience with data migration and reporting within Finance systems.
    • Familiarity with HR systems platforms and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of custom CRM workflows and their implementation.
    • Ability to administer system access, define security policies, and profiles.
    • Proficiency in writing custom SQL statements for data manipulation.
    • Experience in creating custom reports using Sage Intelligence and/or Crystal Reports.
    • Understanding of HR needs and the ability to provide suitable solutions or recommend plug-in integrations.
    • Familiarity with establishing and managing testing environments (e.g., ADP Sandbox).
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate functional solutions.
    • Experience in managing contractors and coordinating their activities.
