SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER BOCA RATON, FLHYBRIDFULL-TIME - PERM$100k to 135k per year + BENEFITS DESCRIPTION:At ttg we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join one of our amazing clients in Boca Raton, FL. If you are looking for a place to grow with a dynamic company, this can be your opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Using best coding practices and procedures:
- Support and maintain existing Java code base
- Develop reusable and flexible applications
- Fix defects
- Update and maintain documentation for the application
- Perform peer code reviews
- Communicate with all departments within the organization
- Work with project managers and business analysts to provide time estimates for new
- development
- Work with support team to resolve issues
- Communicate and troubleshoot technical issues with clients
- Ensure projects are completed on or before development delivery dates
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a
- similar technical field of study
- 6+ years of experience developing programs and/or applications using Java
- Experience using Maven/Gradle
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with No SQL Databases
- Experience exposing or consuming APIs
- Experience with data structures and algorithms
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
- Must be able to work in the USA without any restrictions
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Able to work in office and remotely
- Able to work outside of normal business hours, as needed
- Access to a remote working environment with a modern computer, a computer
- camera, a telephone and high-speed internet
- Preferred: Experience using Git, Jira, Agile, SaaS, Microservices
- Able to successfully complete an online algorithm test during the interview
