The Smartsheet Consultantwill work as a key member of the team supporting Smartsheet Administration and Development for the Clients Modernization Projects. The Consultant will support the Enterprise Administration team to develop and enhance the Smartsheet platform. This candidate needs to be hands-on with the ability to work independently and customize/enhance Smartsheet solutions.Responsibilities: Understands technical and functional design requirements for Smartsheet with the key ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions. Develops custom project management portfolio dashboards, reports, integrated schedules, and workflows that report upward to senior management. Develops solutions to support program management planning and reporting. Participates in developing tools, automation, and scripts to facilitate platform maintenance, operational efficiency, reliability, and administration. Develops, monitors, troubleshoots, determines root cause, and validates jobs/processes throughout Smartsheet platform. Develop various solutions to support modernization efforts on Smartsheet. Troubleshoot and resolve Smartsheet integration issues. Develop according to Smartsheet best practices with focus on system sustainability, performance, and growth. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to onboard Smartsheet admins with new developed solutions, including thorough documentation. Load, manipulate, and integrate data between Smartsheet and other systems.Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience in application development, data modeling and/or data analysis 5+ Years in Smartsheet Application Development Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, high velocity, environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities under pressure. Smartsheet Certifications and Development experience configuring/building solutions in Smartsheet, Work Apps, Dynamic Views, WorkApps, Data Shuttle, DataMesh and Functions and Formulas. Knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software Experience in large-scale data management and analytics Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. High proficiency in Functions and Formulas on Excel. Ability to train and mentor team on Smartsheet capabilities and processes Experience with project management methodologiesPreferred Qualifications: Prior experience developing Project Management solutions on the Smartsheet platform. Prior experience in developing reports and tools to support project management reporting. Prior experience with Power BI or PowerApps integrations with Smartsheet General KSA Communication: Have the ability to clearly convey information, in both written and verbal formats, to individuals or groups in a wide variety of settings (i.e.; project team meetings, management presentations, etc.). Must have the ability to effectively listen and process information provided by others. Experience in Smartsheet functional areas like control center, workspaces, power apps, sheets, reports, dashboards, Data Mesh, Bridge, etc. Advanced Excel experience (e.g., Vlookups, Pivot tables, SumIFs, Data Modeling, Handling large volumes of data). The candidate can train others in this skill set. Excellent analytical, debugging, and technical problem solving.
