Senior Software Developers

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for Senior Software Developers. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications. Writing Big Query SQL queries to automate data flow from different vendors and different data feeds so that the human interaction and hence the chances of errors are reduced using Python, Hadoop, Hive, Spark and PySpark. Writing Python Programs from scratch in PyCharm to run different validations and checks. Writing different SQL programs to write data to tables and store in specified location. Writing Apache Airflow python scripts to run different validations checks as well as to find out if the data pipeline is broken somewhere. Maintaining the codebase on company's GitHub repositories so that the code if needed in future can be referenced or changed if a bug is found. Developing and implementing test validations of the data solutions. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to the data solutions to meet project specifications. Integrating the solutions into existing systems, cloud platforms and databases. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the solutions as required by the project.REQUIREMENTS:Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Data Science, or Engineering and one year's experience in position or one year's experience in IT field.Special requirements: Experience with Python, Hadoop, Hive, Spark and PySpark. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required.
