Senior Quality Assurance

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Davie, FL that is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance.Summary:The QA Analyst III is responsible for the design, development, and execution of manual and automated test cases as part of the feature and functional test activity for cloud-based software applications and Mobile apps. The QA Analyst III will interact and collaborate primarily with QA test team members, as well as Development Engineering and Product Management to develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases. All test and debug activities will be executed per project plans and schedules, while adhering to defined quality requirements and reported through established tracking tools and systems.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Senior Quality Assurance will analyze product requirements from a customer viewpoint and make suggestions based on gap analysis Write test plans, cases, and conditions to ensure effective test coverage based on product requirements for cloud-based software applications and Mobile apps Execute test cases, at black-box, grey-box, and white-box levels Mentor and collaborate with other testers in test procedures, processes, and best practices Participate in the development of test project goals, scope, estimates and plans Collaborate with other testers in test procedures, process, and best practices As a Senior Quality Assurance, you will work closely with Development, Product Management and QA Test leadership to develop an applicable test approach and strategy for both specific products and product lines Execute long duration tasks and assignments according to project plans, to meet schedule, resource, and quality requirements Log and track defects using the designated tracking system and toolsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or Related Technical Field required Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or Related Technical Field is a plus 5 - 8 years of related experience Proven demonstration of leadership skills Demonstrated ability to develop and execute software test strategies and test cases Experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps development methodology Working knowledge of cloud-based applications, SQL, and Windows GUI Experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End System Integration Testing Experience in Manual and Automation Testing Established expertise in test methodologies and techniques Problem solving skills and the ability to work with senior leaders to establish strategies A solid working knowledge of metrics and models in product quality engineering Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies and techniques Demonstrated command and experience working with Test and Defect Management/Workflow tools Familiarity with Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and testing process Proven verbal and written communications skills in English; Other languages are a plus Demonstrated command and experience working with JIRA highly desired Solid understanding of API Testing and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Apigee, Tricentis) highly desired Experience in Scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Shell, etc.), highly desired Experience in code development (C, C, C#, Java, etc.) is a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
