We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a part-time R & D Clerk. Seeking a team-player (day shift, weekends and holidays). To work immediately you must have a clean background to qualify for a State of Florida pari-mutuel license. Reliable transportation a must.

OVERVIEW:

Receives, distributes and stores all incoming products in a neat, efficient, professional manner following food safety regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Accounts for all products delivered to appropriate stands and restaurants

· Verify shipments received and ensure proper weights and counts against order lists and invoices

· Daily scan requisition sheets to guarantee proper amounts were delivered

· Accurately handle, control and disperse product

· Distributes and stores all incoming products and equipment in a neat, professional manner

· Keep stock rotated

· Change out kegs and deliver liquor throughout the department

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

· Operate and maintain all equipment/tools

· Flexible to work within any area of Food & Beverage

· Perform other duties as assigned by Management

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

· Meet all regulations pertaining to health, safety and personal hygiene in accordance with City, State, and Federal laws

· Comply with Company / Department policies, including attendance

· Must not present a direct threat to health, safety or the welfare of fellow employees or others

· Treat all guests, vendors and employees with courtesy, respect, fairness and consistency

· Professional in appearance, grooming and behavior

· Ability to interpret and complete all communications received and submitted

MACHINE / EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:

Hand truck, four wheeler, broom, forklift and carts

SAFETY EQUIPMENT:

Fire extinguisher, gloves, goggles and back support

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

· Previous experience in Food and Beverage for product, procedures and terminology

· Knowledge of safety temperature control on refrigerator and freezers for food safety

· Ability to read and write

· Comprehension of basic math

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Potential exposure to outdoor / indoor elements and air conditioning / heat

· Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching

· Steady motion without sitting for minimum of 2 hours

· Pushing, pulling and lifting (minimum of 25 lbs.)

· Exposure to monoxide fumes from equipment used

· Overtime work on “as needed” basis
