PHYSICAL THERAPIST:
URGENT HOME CARE OF FLORIDA is hiring a PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT). The PT is a professional member of the Homehealth care team who provides Physical Therapy services to patients in compliance with all applicable practice acts. The Physical Therapist performs duties within standards of clinical practice as defined by the Department of Professional Regulation, the American Physical Therapy Association, and the policies and procedures of URGENT HOME CARE OF FLORIDA and functions under the direction of a physician and/or nursing supervisor in the deliverance of skilled Physical Therapy care to the client.
PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASST.:
URGENT HOME CARE OF FLORIDA is hiring looking to hire a PTA to work under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PT), the PTA provides client services that have been delegated by the PT.
OCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:
The Occupational Therapist will primarily provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. The in-home setting could be a patient's private residence or in a patient's room in an independent living facility. This allows the Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat in the most functional environment which is the patient's home. The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the agency to facilitate rehabilitation. In addition, they direct patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. The Occupational Therapist facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. This position provides a flexible schedule and work environment in various settings.
COTA - CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASST.:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for the treatment of patients following a plan of care. Treatment will focus on upper extremity exercises, ADL’s, transfers, and patient/family education. Provides appropriate and thorough teaching to patients and their caregivers.
