- Design and implement plumbing systems for various projects within the engineering industry.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that plumbing systems are designed to meet their specific needs.
- Create detailed plumbing plans, drawings, and specifications using Revit software.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing plumbing systems and identify any potential issues.
- Collaborate with other professionals on the project team to ensure that plumbing systems are integrated with other building systems.
- Ensure that plumbing systems comply with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Provide technical support to construction teams during the installation and commissioning of plumbing systems.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of plumbing systems to ensure that they are functioning properly.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 2+ years of experience in plumbing engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Revit software and its application in plumbing design.
- Experience with designing plumbing systems for K-12, hospital, and healthcare projects.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations, including ASPE, IPC, UPC, and NFPA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required.
