JOB SUMMARY

We are a commercial printer and a sign company. Primary responsibility is for offset printing and to assist with print finishing. Additional responsibilities to pull orders, pack, label and ship.

Cross training to support sign production includes to print, apply vinyl and sign installation.

A variety of print and sign projects makes each day unique.

We are located on the east side of Tampa 33619 - not to be confused with the other Allegra which is downtown.

Allegra Marketing Print Mail is a locally owned commercial printer that operates together with Image360 Tampa-East a sign and graphics company. Our goal is to provide all the visual branded graphic and marketing tools organizations need to promote their business.

We seek an experienced Offset Press Operator who will also be cross trained in our sign production.

PRINT PRODUCTION

Job requires experience and skills to operate, maintain and repair both presses:

Heidelberg QM46-2 Two Color Quick Master Print Master

AB Dick 9800 Two Color with T-head

Order supplies as necessary.

Additional bindery and hand work skills required.

Additional work in pulling stock, packaging, labeling and shipping

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Some deliveries required.

SIGN SKILLS

Applicant must be eagerly interested in being cross trained as we are a busy shop and production requirements change daily.

Additional skills which will be required are printing vinyl, applying vinyl, and installing both interior and exterior signs.

Must bring a desire to continue to learn new skills and follow best practices and safety procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend daily production meeting to receive daily work and prioritize workflow

Ability to read and follow job notes in work orders accurately – questions should be immediately addressed to Production Manager

Serve as a backup for overflow sign production needs

Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed

Performs other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

3 Years experience on same offset presses as ours

Valid drivers license. CLEAN driving record.

High school diploma or GED required

Previous print production experience Mandatory

Able to stand for long periods of time

Able to lift 50 or more pounds

Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
