Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Technician performs salt delivery and/or maintenance work on water treatment equipment including softeners and whole house reverse osmosis systems. Technician will inspect equipment, test water quality, and report on findings. Minor repair depending on skillset. Tasks are completed within well-defined times and specifications. Field experience not required; training is provided. Truck, phone, electric tools and shirts are provided.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

The candidate must be mechanically inclined, have a passion for learning the skills of the profession, and a desire to solve problems and help people. Qualifications include:

Technical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.

Ability to use hand tools.

Must be able to lift fifty-five pounds to a height of 4 feet off the floor.

Valid Driver’s license and insurable.

High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Personal and appearance must be clean and well maintained to present a positive image to the customer.

Acceptable written and verbal communication skills.

Helpful attitude, team player and sense of urgency.

Ability to work independently.
