Job Type: Full-time Monday through Friday 830 to 5.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Locksmith Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning, flexible, reliable, a strong technical skill set, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. As a Locksmith Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by providing key cutting, lock repair, and other locksmith services.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform key cutting and duplication services accurately and efficiently.
2. Repair and rekey locks, ensuring the highest standard of quality.
3. Assist customers with inquiries, providing expert advice on security solutions.
4. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of locks and security systems.
5. Collaborate with team members to complete shop-related tasks and projects.
6. Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications:
1. Proven mechanical aptitude
2. Strong desire to learn
3. Proficient in key cutting and duplication techniques.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid locksmith certification is a plus but not required
