Location: OrlandoDuration: 12 monthsLead Developer/Software Engineer Job Description: Looking for Lead Software Engineer with 8+ years experience working with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript in an Enterprise environment to continue to grow the product partnered with Amazon. Candidates should be comfortable working on a small team of dedicated developers using Agile methodologies. Compatible candidates should excel as individual contributors and be a passionate team player who sets an example when participating in code reviews, story pointing sessions, and demos. The team supports both back-end lambda-based microservices and custom Alexa skills so there is opportunity to use previous ASK development experience or to grow if the candidate has no previous ASK experience. This candidate is expected to have a strong grasp of development of lambdas. Great candidates are ones who can maintain a solid volume of work while remaining thorough in writing both sustainable and well-tested code. Lead candidates are expected to be able to perform as mentors, developers, and as subject matter experts working closely with the Technical Program Manager.
