Dry Cleaning Clerk Needed!

A prominent dry cleaner and tailoring store in Boca Raton is looking for a full time clerk to work the front desk (30-40 hours).

Objective: To ensure excellent customer service and assist with the garment handling before and after the garments are cleaned and pressed.

Duties:

Satisfy customer needs

Handle drop-off and pickup

Create invoices for incoming orders

Tag the outgoing garments

Assemble the orders once cleaning is finished

Clean work area

Answer phone calls

Load washer and Drier with Wash & Fold laundry

Fold laundry neatly and prepare for client/driver pickup

Collect payment from customers

Handle any issues raised by clients

Report to ownership

Experience:

Must have experience with retail and customer service

Must have experience with a POS system (recording tickets/collecting money)

An experience working for a dry cleaner drop store is a plus

Ability to speak and communicate effectively with customers and other employees.

Ability to move or handle inventory generally weighting 0-30 lbs, stand for majority of working hours, walk to retrieve inventory, and to reach overhead to place or remove garments from racks or conveyor.

Ability to work varied hours/days (including Saturdays) depending on operational needs.

Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision while often times needing to multitask .
