Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions and X-ray Certification

Minimum one year work experience as a Dental Assistant, preferred 3-5 years.

We are a small one doctor private dental practice in West Bradenton. Our patient care hours are Monday and Wednesday 7:30am-4:30pm and Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm. We are open the office 30 minutes prior to patient care hours for huddle and set up. We occasionally work Fridays for special cases and/or circumstances.

The ideal candidate will be a team player that possess a high level of customer service, infection control and professionalism. The primary functions of the position include closely working with the dentist and the team in the daily management of patient treatment; setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, making patient feel at ease, reviewing treatment plans, exposing radiographs, making temporaries, pouring models and managing lab cases. A comfort level with education, communication and dental disease with a strong commitment to sterilization are key requirements for the position.
