Required Skills and Experience The candidate selected shall telework as long as the candidate resides within the State of Florida. 5+ years’ experience working with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration of multiple platform environment. May manage and maintain production and non-production databases. May perform backup and recovery on physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration. May perform backup and recovery on database management systems, configure database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. May optimize database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost. May support multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data. Serves as technical lead for consultation and guidance in the development of the system architecture, database architecture, the data warehouse as well as the data model through all phases of the project. Reviews documents, including requirements documents, testing plans, development plans and architectural plans in order to insure that implementation of said documents and plans will result in the system required by the user. Ability to work with other project managers and under the leadership of a Project Manager. Experience working in state government is highly preferred. Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Related work experience will be considered.
