Data Center Technicians

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking part time Data Center Technicians in Las Vegas, NV. These positions will work in our Las Vegas data center as part of our Cloud Operations Services team. Primary responsibilities of the Data Center Technician include troubleshooting environmental issues, analyzing infrastructure alerts, and processing infrastructure changes. Additional responsibilities of the Data Center Technician include performing daily operations tasks such as identifying and correcting hardware alerts, maintaining equipment inventories, racking and cabling equipment, and assisting vendors and internal Cloud Engineers with deploying and replacing hardware components.REQUIREMENTS: Possess experience working in an enterprise environment of a least 300 servers, with 3+ years in a technical support position, and 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center operations 3+ years of experience in hardware-related issues' troubleshooting and repair 2+ years of experience in data cable wiring and management 2+ years of experience working with Dell, HP, SolidFire, and/or NetApp 2+ years of experience working with VMWare is (a plus) Experience working with Juniper devices and NAS/SAN (a plus) Experience working with enterprise network monitoring tools Orion and MS SCOM (a plus)The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
