Construction/Building Consultant

Construction Consultant will work directly with Developers, Insurance Carriers, Contractors, and Attorneys to assist and advise on residential, commercial and industrial construction projects, claims and disputes. Must have an interest in construction management, being in the field, assessing and estimating repairs/replacement and communicating with owners, contractors, and designers regularly. Candidate must have an interest in construction contracting, claims, restoration, or estimating. Candidate will work out of the office in Boca Raton, Florida but must be willing to travel throughout Florida for projects.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

- Onsite Inspections

- Document Review

- Establish Immediate Post Loss Estimates

- Damages Consulting and Estimating

- Actual Cash Value Determinations

- Owner's Rep/Project Management

- Invoice Analyses

Skills/Qualifications/Abilities:

-Xactimate Experience

-Have interest and/or experience in cost estimating or related construction field experience

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs

-Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize work assignments

-Excellent time management skills
