RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Cloups Operations Engineering Manager in Miami, Florida (FL).Responsibilities include: Able to lead and motivate teams of Cloud Engineers that architect, design, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise Cloud infrastructures Applies Servant Leadership principles to enable teams to succeed and perform optimally Operations Engineering Manager participates in the definition, planning, and progress tracking towards completion of teams' initiatives, goals, and assignments Ensures alignment of teams' activities with business objectives and priorities Elaborates and communicates projects' vision and goals, and how they tie into the overall organization strategic objectives Elicits and coordinates communication with external teams and entities to bring about clarity of requirements, delivery expectations, and completion timelines Operations Engineering Manager identifies risks, escalates issues affecting teams, and proactively coordinates their prompt attention Monitors for and works to remove blockers that impede progress Helps implement change management practices for process execution, standards definitions, and documentation Participates in incident management activities, as applicable Assists on recruiting, training facilitation, and talent retention initiativesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience required AWS/Azure Certifications are a plus 8+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Operations 5+ years working in managing a team that supports production AWS/Azure environments 5+ years developing with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JSON, Python, or other applicable language) with at least 2+ years focused on Cloud Automation Proven engineering experience in either Azure or AWS; Preferably both Experience working within a Dev Ops framework using CI/CD and/or Agile Experience with source code repositories (e.g., GitHub/Gitlab/AWS Code Commit) and CI/CD toolsets Experience implementing effective monitoring, logging, and auditing of IaaS/PaaS cloud environments to ensure a secure and compliant infrastructure Experience implementing key performance indicators and capacity planning metrics to ensure cost savings opportunities in CSPs are realized Experience Developing/Implementing programmatical controls in relation to security recommendations on current and future AWS/Azure platforms Experience working with SAML 2.0 or higher with integration w/3rd party products Practical understanding of ITIL V2/V3, Agile, and Cloud Governance practices Familiarity working with and supporting AWS Connect Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker or Kubernetes) Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools specifically Excel, Word, and Visio Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem-solving, and attention to detail Proven in leading agile teams using modern agile methodologies Familiarity with regulatory controls related to PCI/DSS, or HIPAA is a plus Familiarity with SAN (Storage Area Network) infrastructure and support is a plusThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
