Job Details

• Perform transmission and distribution line Engineering design activities such as: Pole Analysis and Design, route selection, material acquisition, structural and foundation design, and project and construction management.
• PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE transmission and distribution lines modeling: design criteria, review of conductor clearances, conductor sags, wind blow-out, and develop line plan and profile drawings utilizing Safety Code (NESC), client standards (GO95).
• Structure loading schemes, wind and ice loading calculations on structures, wires, and structure foundation design.
• Create drawings, specifications, and reports to define the scope of work associated with the construction of power transmission/distribution up to 500kV range lines.
• Prepare/review structure load drawings, FAA/Aviation permits, CIPS infractions, right-of-way support drawings.
• Generate structural analysis reports and design for pole, lattice, framed, and guyed structures.
